13 Railway Street, Yandina

Yandina is a significant heritage town on the Sunshine Coast. It was the first official township in the region, celebrated as a vibrant timber area, cattle country, and tourism gateway for folks travelling via rail.
Today, Yandina is a beautiful mash of old-world character and electric style making it one of our all-time favourite villages.
Gun Cotton Coffee Roasters celebrates Yandina’s historic charm with a bright contemporary twist on country dining.
Step inside the industrial barn-style venue, adorned with cute umbrellas, hanging plants, and upcycled furniture.
Opened by local couple Corey and Grace Scoble in 2020, Gun Cotton has become an absolute institution in the Sunshine Coast hinterland known for its speciality small batch coffee roastery and delectable locally sourced food made with flair.
The café is always pumping with locals on their daily coffee run, remote workers, the brunch brigade, and mumma-playdates.
Coffee lovers can explore innovative blends sourced sustainably from farms across the globe, including Uganda, Columbia, Ethiopia and Burundi. With signature blends like the Half Loaded, 38 Revolver, and AK-47, Gun Cotton’s brews are a surefire way to kick-start your day.
When it comes to food, Gun Cotton offers a creative all-day menu. The breakfast tacos and chorizo Turkish eggs are among popular favourites, alongside hype-classics like the avocado smash with edamame, feta, and dukkah and the iconic breakfast stack with cauliflower fritters and house-made salsa. You can also go green with a vibrant poke bowl or get elbows deep in a succulent kaarage chicken burger. The menu alone will have you visiting time after time.
Offering coffee, baked goods, breakfast, and lunch daily, Friday night dinners with live music, and a cute kid’s corner - Gun Cotton is a Swell Places must.
